The
Medical Gym Program at
Outpatient Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Services is a safe positive environment for people with medical conditions, such as diabetes, heart conditions, high blood pressure, deconditioning, injury, or an overweight condition, to perform exercise programs under the professional supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Our caring professionals are trained in exercise science and physiology, as well as the medical or orthopedic conditions that contribute to muscle weakness, improper compensation, and a deconditioned state.
Dr. John Payne, DPT designed the Medical Gym Program at our Auburn, Washington clinic for current, former, and prospective participants who are interested in building overall body strength and making healthy dietary choices in order to improve body composition, prevent further physical limitations, and make permanent lifestyle changes.
Starting a diet and exercise plan can seem overwhelming at the beginning, and many people may not know where to start. The Medical Gym Program is the perfect supportive caring environment to begin. Participants in the Medical Gym Program benefit from:
