John Payne, DPT is a Clinical Director of our Auburn, WA location. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, Dr. Payne specializes in orthopedics, athletic performance, and weight loss. His joy of working with individuals during the recovery process inspired Dr. Payne to design the Medical Gym Program to help people with medical conditions learn to exercise safely and develop healthy diets with the guidance of an onsite Registered Dietitian.
Dr. Payne earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He received his Master of Physical Therapy and Doctor of Physical Therapy Degrees at the University of Utah.
Dr. Payne serves as the Public Relations Committee Chair for the Washington Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association. He is fluent in Spanish. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Payne enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, as well as running, woodworking, and conquering home improvement projects. |

Becky Jo Bohlin, DPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the Clinic Director at our Covington, WA location. Dr. Bohlin earned her Associate Degree in Sports Medicine from Ricks College in Idaho and Bachelor Degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She received her Master of Physical Therapy and Doctor of Physical Therapy Degrees from the University of Utah.
While attending the University of Utah, Dr. Bohlin served as a medical volunteer for the 2002 Winter Olympicsin Salt Lake City, Utah and traveled to Australia as part of her clinical internship. She volunteered as a physical therapist in Haiti on several occasions with the Healing Hands for Haiti Foundation's medical humanitarian aid group.
Dr. Bohlin is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
Originally from California, Dr. Bohlin loves the beauty of Washington State and enjoys running, outdoor activities, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Adam Turley, DPT, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Specialist at our Covington, WA location. Dr. Turley earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He completed a Master and Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Utah. Dr. Turley's professional goal includes a National Sports Medicine Certification.
Dr. Turley is an active community volunteer. As a physical therapy student, he volunteered in the medical facility of the 2002 Winter Olympic Village. He currently instructs Tahoma's Sports and Health Science Classes, as well as provides numerous hours of athletic training assistance to area school athletic teams.
Outside of his physical therapy career, Dr. Turley enjoys sports, working out, outdoor activities, coaching youth sports, working in his yard, and is struggling to learn to play the guitar. |

Dan Steele, DPT is the Owner and Clinic Director of our Covington Satellite. Dan is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with more than 36 years of experience. He has specialization in orthopedic manual therapy, as well as shoulder, knee, ankle, back, and neck injuries.
Dan earned a Bachelor of Art in Education from Eastern Washington State University in Cheney, Washington. He received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota.
Dan is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Washington Physical Therapy Association.
Dan was raised on a small farm in Eastern Washington where he learned the core values of hard work, honesty, service, loyalty, and teamwork. Dan is married to his wife of more than 35 years and enjoys spending time with his four sons and two wonderful daughters-in-law. He is an avid fly fisherman, wood worker, illustrator, and coin collector.

Terry Thurber, PT is a Licensed Physical Therapist at our Kent clinic. Terry has more than 25 years of experience as a physical therapist and specializes in orthopedics. She is qualified in general acute care inpatient therapy, outpatient therapy, orthopedics with emphasis on total joint replacement, TMJ, laser, JOBST, acute CVA, AIDS, geriatrics, and clinical education.
Terry received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the Texas Women's Institute with magna cum laude honors. Her research is published in a peer-reviewed journal. She earned her Bachelor of Art & Science in Secondary Education from the St. Olaf College and was a high school physical education teacher before entering the physical therapy field.
Outside of the clinic, Terry enjoys nature, running, biking, and bird watching. An avid traveler, she has visited the Galapagos Islands, East Africa Safari, Iceland, and Costa Rica. Terry is a member of the National Parks Conservation Association and Washington Trails Association. She is a member of the City of Kent Citizen Emergency Management Team. |

Christine Louie, DPT, graduated in 2010 from Idaho State University with a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Christine enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic patients and also has a particular interest in neurological involvement and sports rehabilitation. Christine did her undergraduate school work at the University of Washington in 2006, receiving a Bachelors degree in Psychology.
Christine loves meeting people, working hands-on with others and watching them grow. Christine loves being active and playing sports, particularly soccer. Elizabeth Franklin, PT, LMP is a Licensed Physical Therapist, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Pro-FAST Trainer. Elizabeth combines her love of movement with assisting athletes to reach their full potential with our Pro-FAST speed and agility program.
Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in Washington. She is a graduate of the Massage Therapy Program at Renton Technical College. She gained experience in athletic training and treating athletic injuries during her college years.
Elizabeth has more than 34 years of dance training, including ballet, tap, jazz, gymnastics dance team, and cheer. She is a 2nd degree Black Belt in the martial art of Tae-Kwon Do. She serves as a team trainer for the local and state Washington Tae Kwon Do team, sending athletes to National Competitions. |

Troy Nordyke, DPT, graduated in 2011 from Idaho State University with a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Troy works with a variety of orthopedic patients and has a particular clinical interest in back/spine care. Melissa Nohl, DPT Doctor of Physical Therapy, Covington
Melissa Nohl graduated with her bachelor's degree and Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Melissa has an interest in sports and orthopedic physical therapy and loves working with all types of injuries. Melissa is currently working towards becoming an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, as well as becoming specialized in manual therapy techniques. She bases her treatment sessions on utilizing a combination of manual and therapeutic exercise techniques to meet the patient's needs. Melissa understands the need for individualization of therapy plans of care and will always strive to meet the goals of her patients.
Melissa volunteers as an assistant coach for Maple Valley's Synergy Club Volleyball team. She is IMPACT certified and has experience in speed and agility training. She is also a certified clinical instructor from the American Physical Therapy Association and enjoys teaching new PT's.
In her free time, Melissa enjoys mountain biking, hiking, photography, playing volleyball, softball and disc golf. |
