John Payne, DPT

Clinic Director

John came to the Auburn area the summer of 2003 after graduating from the University of Utah with a Masters in Physical Therapy. He grew up mostly in Texas, but did his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where he received his Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. John returned to the University of Utah the summer of 2006 to further his education and obtain a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. John is currently the clinical director of the Auburn clinic. He is also a Public Relations committee member for the Washington Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association.

John enjoys the field of physical therapy and working with individuals in their recovery process. He is currently developing a medical gym program in the Auburn clinic and works closely with a dietician. His professional goals include obtaining his orthopedic clinic specialist and opening a gym dedicated to individuals with physical ailments that will allow them to consistently exercise. John currently resides in the Auburn area with his wife and 3 kids. He is fluent in Spanish and in his spare time he enjoys running, woodworking, and conquering home improvement projects.
