I was born and raised in Remer Minnesota where I grew up with one younger brother. I grew up on a small farm and was active in 4-H and was active in athletics all through high school. In undergraduate school I ran cross country and indoor and outdoor track & field all five years. In 2006 I earned All American in the 10K and currently hold the record in the steeplechase. I continue to be an active runner in competing in community running events and volunteer coach for a local high school cross country team. I enjoy all outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, boating, hunting, fishing, and just spending time with friends and family. I recently moved to Washington from Minnesota and I love taking in the sights and can't get enough of Mt. Rainier on a clear day!
